Short, slow, CIRCULAR walk through Thomas Muir Gardens and Sherwood Park.
The walk will commence and finish at the SOUTHEAST corner of Yonge/Lawrence ( at LAWRENCE SUBWAY ) in front of the TORONTO PUBLIC LIBRARY, Locke Branch, 3083 Yonge Street.
We will walk through both parks and beginning with viewing the beautiful flowers in the Thomas Muir Garden Park ( THOMAS MUIR was the composer of the MAPLE LEAF FOREVER which was the unofficial national anthem of English Canada in the year it was written in 1867. However, the song has faded into obscurity in its vocal version and is now played primarily by Canadian military and cadet bands for festivals on Parliament Hill )
